It's so weird seeing the word 'spam' being used in its original meaning.

Well the suburbanites aren't trying to stockpile stuff for when "shit hits the fan." They're just trying to take care of regular disasters, like going through a long stretch of unemployment. Whoever made this video did a pretty bad mashup. The guns aren't for defending themselves from hordes of people, just more for self defense and "hey, let's get the kids involved while we're at it". They're not really likely (in their minds) to see any real danger.

This is kind of a bad mashup but funny I guess, for people who really think end times are coming and want to know where to find some free food.

I mainly just like the part when she's talking about teaching her kids fulfilling things and the editor put in footage of her and the kids playing with guns.

There's nothing wrong with keeping extra food on hand in case of an emergency, winter storm, power outage, etc (I hope they're storing water as well), but living your life in fear isn't really living.

I just wish they would make a triple survival where they bring some poor schmuck along and make him do all the surviving while they just laugh at him.
