Well, Poetv, it's been nice knowing you. I'm going to have a shirt printed with the words, "I'm not a Brony. Let's fuck." I'd post the results of this experiment here, but I'm going to be up to my armpits in all the women who aren't fucking Bronies. Namely, all of them.

Riskbreaker - 2012-01-25

I'm surprised no bronie has decided to marry one of the characters. like those japanese guys marrying the dating sim characters. Is not like if dignity is keeping the first group from doing it.

Caminante Nocturno - 2012-01-25

Dignity is the name of my fan-created pony, and her job is to make sure that none of the ponies in Equestria marry humans, brony or otherwise.

She and Rarity are secretly in love.

Riskbreaker - 2012-01-25

It will happen, and nobody will be able to prevent it, nobody!

Caminante Nocturno - 2012-01-25

"Nonsense!" replied Dignity, stamping her hoof on the ground and defiantly shaking her head, whipping her royal-blue mane about as she did so. "Whatever tricks those wily humans may have up their sleeves, I'll make sure they fail, even if I have to do it myself!"

As Dignity spoke, her eyes met Rarity's. The look in the fashionista pony's eyes told her that she wouldn't be alone in her quest. If it hadn't been for her beloved Rarity and her friends, Dignity would never have been able to convince the citizens of Ponyville that the lovestruck human intruders posed a threat to Equestria.

"The power of friendship is amazing," she thought, smiling tenderly at Rarity, who smiled back. "Not to mention the power of love..."

Dignity's musings were interrupted as the crowd of ponies cheered in response to her determination. Bolstered by her lover's silent support, as well as the very vocal support of her fellow ponies, she adjusted her glasses and reared up on her hind legs.

"Onward!" she yelled, the marble column that was her cutie mark almost glittering in the moonlight. "Onward to Canterlot... And VICTORY!"

Cena_mark - 2012-01-25

Uh... You're not helping our cause Caminante.
I mean. Ha ha. I fooled you POETV. Me coming out as a brony was an epic troll all along.

Xenocide - 2012-01-25

That's pretty weird. A horse wearing glasses.

EvilHomer - 2012-01-25

I enjoyed Caminante's pony fanfiction, and would like to read more.

Maybe the next one could have Dignity voreing the Sailor Scouts and Card Captor Sakura?

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2012-01-25

Yeah, Dignity LOVES the ol' Marble Column.

duck&cover - 2012-01-25

Pega-sisters = female bronies. I just learned something new.

William Topaz McGonagall - 2012-01-25

I was wondering how Fox was going to work in their casual racism quota for this segment, but then 2:44-2:56 happened.

misterbuns - 2012-01-25

Nice.

Xenocide - 2012-01-25

You know that whole "let's visit a con and laugh at the attendees" subgenre of comedy video? The one everyone with a Youtube account has done by now? Fox just heard about it last week.

Good choice of a first target, though. Start with the easy ones.

Caminante Nocturno - 2012-01-25

They're at least keeping in the tradition of coming off far worse than the people they're trying to mock.

Sundry - 2012-01-25

No. They are not. They are merely acting like the group of high school jocks that invite the maladjusted geek to their table just so they can laugh at him.

I think that what really bothers me about Bronies more than other obsessed geeks is that they are making it so any little kid who goes online searching for stuff on one of the cartoons they like will inevitably stumble upon their shit.
Like this:
http://askprincessmolestia.tumblr.com/

That in addition to all the stuff they already do that is so awkward it is frustrating to witness.

sosage - 2012-01-25

The Brony phenomenon is the lowest hanging fruit on this tree. I'm waiting for someone to do the whole "let's film obsessive weirdos" with the same level of mockery to something perceived as acceptable and normal...like people waiting to get Super Bowl tickets.

Caminante Nocturno - 2012-01-25

"They are merely acting like the group of high school jocks that invite the maladjusted geek to their table just so they can laugh at him."

How is that different from what I said?

Sundry - 2012-01-25

I don't need to explain how jocks and their antics are largely tolerated, accepted or welcome in society, do I?

Would you rather enter a room that smells like AXE bodyspray or one that smells like old sweat and smegma?
Its a dilemma, I know, but I think most people would take the AXE option.

Bort - 2012-01-25

Only they didn't pick a jock to do the interview; the guy appears to be part man, part worm. Fox managed to pick one of the very few correspondents who couldn't manage to look better than the people he was interviewing.

Caminante Nocturno - 2012-01-25

They could have picked the jockiest jock to ever jock his way out of Jocktown for this, he still would have looked worse than the people he interviewed.

Cena_mark - 2012-01-25

I hate how he only went out and interviewed fat disgusting bronies. As the goal of course is the make them look like huge dorks, they didn't interview any bronies who are badasses like me.

FABIO - 2012-01-25

Biggest stretch to high school jock oppression in the history of poetv?

One obsessive subgroup gets laid by attractive women, the other is lucky to ever touch a boob.

It's not that hard to figure out.

Caminante Nocturno - 2012-01-25

Date-rape doesn't count, FABIO.

BHWW - 2012-01-25

I remember the days on PoE-Red, when if someone trotted out the old "W-w-w-well are these people really so weird as compared to sports fans? Y-y-you must all be a bunch of bullies and VAPID JOCKS (sobbing)" saw in:re an exhibit like a furry or a crazy anime fan it was usually a) the exhibit themselves or b) some self-appointed defender of furrydom or crazy adult fans of childrens' cartoons and they would get roundly and justly mocked.

Sure, this "look at the freaks" sort of deal is old but it's not like there are going to be any rational adult fans of MLP (assuming such a creature exists) visiting one of these brony meet-ups. The whole place is a probably a freak kingdom, totally bughouse, man.

EvilHomer - 2012-01-25

Hear hear, BHWW speaks true!

Have we really become so out of touch with the values and traditions of our ancestors that we're using the "mean jocks" defense for the sake of pony-loving hambeasts?

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2012-01-25

This guy was actually pretty funny interviewing bronies and then he had to become a high school jock with the pony name bit.

Princess Celestia looks like she wants to smack him. I'm pretty sure he tried to have sex with her after this was done filming.

Cena_mark - 2012-01-25

I was all about talking about how tough and awesome I am, and how I'd love to beat up a room full of dorks. What happened to me?

EvilHomer - 2012-01-25

Character development, Cena. Your character's story arc is nuanced and very well written.

Old_Zircon - 2012-01-25

What have we become?

The Mothership - 2012-01-25

cocaine. cocaine is a hell of a drug.

pastorofmuppets - 2012-01-25

That sweater screams erectile dysfunction.

pastorofmuppets - 2012-01-25

"You know what I like about the name cinnamon groove?"

EvilHomer - 2012-01-25

Stars for Cinnamon Groove.

Cena_mark - 2012-01-25

I like how his pony persona wears a gay ass vest. It resembles CWC's gay trucker look.

Screwtape - 2012-01-25

Free cereal and anime: the gateway drug.

BHWW - 2012-01-25

MLP:FiM Fandom: Pit of Despair

Cena_mark - 2012-01-25

What's the deal? When I was hating on the bronies everybody just made fun of me. Now that I'm a fan of the show everybody is hating bronies.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2012-01-25

You just have that effect on people, I guess. Maybe it's a superpower.

Can you become a fan of "Jersey Shore" next? Please?

Old_Zircon - 2012-01-25

These stars are especially for the part where he talks about Jay Z and Beyonce to the one nonwhite person he found. Nothing but class, Fox.

flotsam - 2012-01-26

Ew, now Fox News thinks it's cool to laugh at bronies.

Hailey2006 - 2012-02-22
