I love how he is one of the only people in Congress pointing out the folly of pre-emptive war and the complete mistake that is depending on the Federal Reserve for the accumulation of interest, which doesn't help anyone but at the top.
It just amazes me how dedicated people are to him, especially given his stance on health care and how he can NEVER FUCKING ANSWER THE QUESTION OF WHAT HE WOULD DO ABOUT IT.
He always responds the same way with: in a free market system, they will get good health care and insurance because everything will even out.
Really? All on their own the HMO's are going to just give in and give us affordable rates and not discriminate? After he says businesses should discriminate against anyone they choose because hey they should have freedom, right? It doesn't add the fuck up. He can't answer and this infuriates me. Because he wouldn't do ANYTHING about health care. This isn't the goddamn 30s and churches cannot pick up the fucking slack for patients that can't afford to go to doctors elsewhere. What the fuck does he think is going to happen, a natural throwback?
They made the HMO's, they gave them power, and now he suggests that nothing be done to curb their utter monopoly. Thanks a lot you utter shitheel.
