He hasn't been in a movie in four years, so if you're still suffering from Will Smith overload, maybe you need to change what's in the ol' DVD player.

That said, he does say "I'm gonna pimp slap the shiznit out of you" in the trailer for MIB3, so maybe he needs to hit the streets of Philly and check out what the new slang is, because that's like a decade out of date.

Scripts for Will Smith are written more like, "Aliens invade earth, how does Will Smith deal with it?" or "Imagine I Am Legend or the Omega Man, but Will Smith is the only human alive" or "Martin Lawrence is a cop and his partner happens to be Will Smith, imagine how Will Smith deals with this situation!". His acting tends to be more just being Will Smith reacting to the scenario.

So if Will Smith annoys you, then it is likely he will annoy you in everything and anything he stars in. Which I completely sympathize with.

I think Mr.Smith would appreciate if you eased up off his back about it.

For what it's worth, he's just about the only black man Hollywood will ever cast for the lead in a movie aimed at white people.

I don't know what element of that depresses me more.
