The longer the beard gets, the more pictures there are, culminating in full video. This man has lost the mind-beard battle that all people with beards must fight (on a side note, regardless of how long it is, what a shitty beard).
I can almost guarantee that at some point he has said "The beard stays. You go!" without trying to directly reference Kids in the Hall.
