FAK--errr SHOOT

Mike Tyson?! - 2012-06-04

Anything that makes it on tv is a work.

sosage - 2012-06-04

I thought he was all embarrassed about his time playing wrassling and hated every minute of it? Did he suck at MMA and need a paycheck or something?

SDAusmus - 2012-06-04

Health problems (mononucleosis and multiple bouts of diverticulitis) led to him leaving after dropping two straight fights. He's on a very limited schedule in the WWE and I doubt he'll stay past next year's Wrestlemania.

Cena_mark - 2012-06-04

I don't think he'll be back. He promptly quit soon after breaking HHH's arm.

pineapplejuicer - 2012-06-04

he was liver kicked into retirement by alistair overeem, who was more than likely juicing at the time. i can't imagine getting kicked in the surgically repaired intestines by a 250 lb k-1 grand prix champion who was soon after suspended for PED's is a terribly pleasant experience.

also cena you better be joking/trolling/yourself because this is fake as shit. i'm not sure brock can even spell "kimura".

pineapplejuicer - 2012-06-04

shit did i just even question if cena was trolling? i fell for the oldest trick in the book

Cena_mark - 2012-06-04

But Jerry "the King" Lawler said he heard it pop from the announcing table.

pineapplejuicer - 2012-06-04

hahaha just like he was mortal enemies with andy kaufman?

Cena_mark - 2012-06-04

Don't be so damned naive. His feud with Kaufman was a work.

pineapplejuicer - 2012-06-04

alright you win this round. the coast guard has taught you well.

MongoMcMichael - 2012-06-05

Just so you know, the current plan is to save up his contracted dates for a Wrestlemania match with the Undertaker. That's why they're using Paul Heyman as his official representative: to save more dates.

Squeamish - 2012-06-04

:(

Cena_mark - 2012-06-04

I warned you not to watch it.

Pillager - 2012-06-04

Cripple H is the reason I stopped watching wrestling.

Hooker - 2012-06-04

Why is this noteworthy in the slightest? Did Cena_mark get front page access?

Cena_mark - 2012-06-04

I don't have font page access. People here like wrestling.

BTW, you forgot to log on as Wonko the Lame.

Hooker - 2012-06-05

I have been watching RAW consistently since it aired in Canada, Smackdown from its start, and watch every WWE PPV each year. I frequently attend local indy promotions, and I have stacks of DVDs (and even some VHS tapes) of PWG, Dragon Gate, Dragon Gate USA, RoH, CZW, IWA-MS, NWA Wildside, Chikara, WCW, ECW, AWA, ASW, AJPW, BJPW, NJPW, Michinoku Pro, NOAH, DDT, HUSTLE, ZERO1, UWFi, Bushido UWFi, and many others I can't remember right now or one-off promotions.

This is a clearly worked angle. Tensai giving John Cena the green mist is more interesting than this.

Hooker - 2012-06-05

Some obvious ones that shouldn't have slipped my mind: TNA, FMW, and motherfuckin' Saitama Pro.

Riskbreaker - 2012-06-05

I stopped watching WWE ages ago, now i just watch it via botchamania. This kind of lame storylines don't help one bit.

Hooker - 2012-06-05

Yeah. Full disclosure: I watch the WWE stuff with a friend of mine and make fun of or seeth in anger at everything with him. I wouldn't be able to force myself through it alone.

THA SUGAH RAIN - 2012-06-05

EVERYONE HAS FRONT PAGE ACCESS. GET A CLUE

sosage - 2012-06-05

I'll pipe in and LJ: I only watch Botchamania and old footage of when I watched as a kid. Obviously, also Randy Savage. I've tuned into the stuff on TV here or there, but no one has the Savage-like over the top persona that keeps me interested. It's entertainment for little boys for sure, but I really don't see how this new shit competes with a little kid's access to video games or even going outside and throwing rocks into traffic. Maybe I have to be into it more than I am willing to be. I mean, Brock Lesnar is considered interesting? That's gotta be one boring ass meat head to have to stare at doing a promo. Do they even do promos anymore? Or is it all standing in the ring with a mic repeating, "But let me tell you something"?

Riskbreaker - 2012-06-05

A good storyline in wrestling needs to be one and only one thing: outrageous and over the top, the more the better. Andy Kauffman wrasslin fat women? Gold, Hard Gay vs New Ying Ling? Good, two meat heads talking for like 15 minutes about "the feelings you're feeling?" Yawn....

Cena_mark - 2012-06-05

So you watch a bunch of minor league wrestling... that doesn't impress me. Its all about the WWE and the CeNation.

twinkieafternoon - 2012-06-05

The only interesting tidbit here: after this RAW, after WWE sold the story that "YOU COULD HEAR IT SNAPP!!1!", Triple H was invited by Floyd Mayweather's camp to appear as a special manager/posse member for Floyd's fight that weekend against Miguel Cotto.

His job was to hold up some of Mayweather's many championship belts (along with Justin Beiber!), and he completely forgot to sell the injury. No cast, no discomfort, no anything.

The next day on WWE's website, Trips "justified" the pictures going around by saying that when someone has to rehab a broken arm, sometimes you have to wear the cast and sometimes you don't because of swelling and stuff, and that's how broken arms have always worked.

Killer Joe - 2012-06-16

To be fair, would you want to be mocked by some of the baddest men on the planet for playing hurt, or by the WWE's manchildren population for acting like an adult outside the office?
Also, Brock wouldn't know a kimura if if walked up and broke his arm.

THA SUGAH RAIN - 2012-06-05

Wait so some of you under the impression that any of this is real? Hooker I at least had some respect for before this.

Hooker - 2012-06-05

How did you read "[t]his is a clearly worked angle" as "this really happened"?

gambol - 2012-06-05

well this is an embarrassing episode in the history of poetv
