is torn; these are just women trying to do their job, and having a bad day at their job. that is hard to laugh at. Then again, they fell down, and that is intrinsically funny. so 5 stars for whoever's idea it was to put swinging obstacles on the catwalk, and the designer of the Cat in the Hat outfit. That's fucking funny.

jangbones - 2012-06-12

they walk and starve for a living

some people dig ditches or clean up body parts

I think it's more of a commentary on our culture's relationship with vanity. Also, someone needs to mash this up with some ewoks releasing the logs.

SolRo - 2012-06-12

The cat in the hat model didnt sleep with the designer

That guy - 2012-06-12

But you don't think their job is intrinsically farcical?
Or that the whole endeavor is ripe for satire because of aspirations that fail precisely because of how literally and figuratively stilted they are?

Adham Nu'man - 2012-06-12

If you have a problem with Schadenfreude you came to the wrong site buddy.

StanleyPain - 2012-06-13

models don't really have much of a "job." They parlay the fact that they have to voluntarily abuse their bodies as some sort of get-out-of-jail-free card whenever people point out that they make insane amounts of money for doing shit, but the fact that it's voluntary and stupid kind of makes me not feel sorry for them at all.

zerobackup - 2012-06-13

Are we debating the validity of fashion models in our modern society? I came here to see lady fall down go boom...

duck&cover - 2012-06-12

Needs the sound of an African-American news anchor laughing at them.

fedex - 2012-06-12

you forgot cocaine and alcohol as 'perils of the catwalk'

THA SUGAH RAIN - 2012-06-12

Cat in the hat, falling through floors and disappearing, and 1:08 is how you walk like a boss.

The Townleybomb - 2012-06-12

This was way funnier than I expected. I love how high-fashion clothes and hairstyles magnify every awkward step!

memedumpster - 2012-06-12

D:

These are some harsh falls, no grace at all. Clothing designers really hate women.

Oscar Wildcat - 2012-06-12

I wonder how many had to be put down due to their injuries.

Oscar Wildcat - 2012-06-12

Also: Fuckin' Tyra Banks is responsible for a goodly number of those clips. The Ewok log attack in particular. She does this S&M show with models on the TeeVee, don't you know.

Corpus Delectable - 2012-06-12

There was this, like, delayed effect for me. Up until 1:26 or so, none of it seemed funny. At 1:27 I got the full cumulative effect, and it just got better.

Jet Bin Fever - 2012-06-12

I laughed, I cried, and then I learned.

Stopheles - 2012-06-12

"SFW Fetish Week" tag, please.

jimmicampkin - 2012-06-13

At your service

subduralhematoma - 2012-06-12

they look like newborn ponies trying to walk for the first time...

Riskbreaker - 2012-06-13

My stars for the girl that had to cross the Castlevania/Dark Souls catwalk with the swinging obstacles.

zerobackup - 2012-06-13

^ this!

muffinbutt - 2012-06-13

I'm sending this to the next person that makes snotty comments about the fact that I refuse to wear heels.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2012-06-17

I would like to see more giant pendulums or swinging heavy obstacle courses on model runways. This pleases me.
