misterbuns - 2012-06-27 Which part of playing a Pyro is more challenging, holding down the forward button or holding down the left mouse button? Pressing them independently is difficult, but the best Pyro players actually push both of them _at the same time_. I hear that is the trick.

misterbuns - 2012-06-27 I don't have any problem with pyros. But it is interesting that my time played / kills for the pyro is far far far bigger than any other class in the game. As far as I can tell the class just exists so children and retards can still have fun with tf2.

At long-range, a pyro can deal with a sniper using a flare gun. It's not usually enough to kill them, but it does ruin their aim and make them run for cover.
Finally, like Hodge said, you can do some amazing things with a compressed air blast.

Perhaps I'm the only one, but I think that Valve put too much effort into these last two videos. For all the others, it was some guy who's job it is to perform a random task on a group of mercenaries talking about his everyday life. The character of the Pyro, as communicated by TF2, doesn't make him feel like he's insane, or he's a psycho, or anything like that. He's that asshole with the flamethrower who's really good at spy checking.
If it were me, it would be like all the others, except you can't understand what he's talking about and half of the shots are of him burning a spy. Because that's what he does in game. That's his character.
Regardless, this is still awesome. It's just not exactly what I expected.

I wish I could still play online. I used to be able to. Then one day, it started taking upwards of five minutes for me to get into a new map. Same goes with L4D and L4D2.
Pyro is my favorite class. I'm so happy to see it get the funniest video.
("Meet the Spy" is still my favorite, though)
