Aphonopelma iodus at 1:02. Used to catch those when I was a kid. They're native to a relatively small area just east of Santee, CA.
You're seeing a threat pose, there. It's trying to be big to scare you away. They're pussies, though. Gentlest spiders I ever kept, save for possibly one Grammastola rosea whose primary attack mode was "bravely shrinking away."
This one is probably a male, wandering about to find a mate.
i dunno, this one leaned a little close to honey badger... I liked the end of chimpanzees when he casually tosses in how they're too stupid to not be eradicated by humanity.
