Given that evidence for habitation of Japan dates back to the Upper Paleolithic era (about 10,000-50,000 years ago) and that their genetic heritage isn't Semitic, this documentary was probably written by someone jonesing for a job writing anime scripts.
Why this isn't on the History Channel is beyond me. It would seem a perfect fit.
It's a documentary by Arimasa Kubo, who describes himself this way: Kubo is a Japanese Christian pastor, Bible teacher and non-fiction writer on science, culture and history.
