I knew he wasn't typical. Now I'm skeptical Maru's even a cat.

My cat isn't quite as chill as Maru, but we can get 2-3 paws worth trimmed before he gets restless.

That level of Zen-like calm in a cat is unsettling, this was uncomfortable to watch. Also, Maru is huge! Look at the size of those meat hooks! I didn't think tabby-like folds got that big.

Maru's not the only one whose nails need a trim. Woof.

Cats start out not minding it much, until you cut them. Or hold them. Or basically do anything to indicate this is something they should mind.

Once that happens you have to bribe them with catnip. Cut the nails, give them catnip. Eventually they come running when they hear the clippers.
