That sounds stupendously familiar...

Are we supposed to follow this damned book or not?

God I hate this ad cliche of a bunch of people saying bits of the same script.

It should have ended after Raymond Scott did it back in the 50s.

"Northern Exposure" chick is convinced her career tanked because the liberals are out to get her. How about: when they were casting for "Northern Exposure", she happened to be in the right place at the right time with the right look, which is more good fortune than 99% of the restaurant staff in LA can boast. But it takes a certain mindset of, shall we say, entitlement for her to feel she is owed more work ... sounds like she's calling for affirmative action.

By the way, conservatives, if you feel your politics aren't welcome in Hollywood, perhaps you should stop using "Hollywood" as code for everything un-American. You should also probably remember the blacklisting in the 1950s, spearheaded by the Republicans; I would bet a lot of people in Hollywood haven't forgotten.

Welcome to right-wing acting excuses for their careers.

It was the mantra for Dwight Schultz, Bruce Boxlietner, Jerry Doyle, and just about everyone else who was pretty firmly B-List for most of their careers and couldn't admit to themselves that they weren't amazing thespians (or, more likely, made asses of themselves to co-workers/producers/directors).

She was pretty good on that show.

Then she went nuts after she didn't get work for a while. She goes on and on about the Articles of Confederation insisting that they are laws. She sits on panels with Victoria Jackson now, which is a huge boost to her credibility.

I've heard rumors she and Rob Morrow hated each other and it's not hard to see why.

I don't see why they hate Hollywood so much, as it seems to embody everything they love: The fetishization of guns, objectification of women, market-driven economics (more than most industries), tax avoidance and accounting shenanigans, and so on.

I guess they really hate SAG and the other guilds/unions, but in L.A. it's not all that different from taking Grover Norquist's satanic pacts, registering GOP and paying thousands if not more a plate for fund-raising dinners.

I love it when men tell me what to do, it saves me the trouble of thinking.

"I am not a slu- er, I mean, a Fluke.

Like that slut Sandra Fluke is."

Bonus points for the implication that feminists don't raise children or have jobs.

Yeah, the "we're too busy with our jobs to be feminists" thing blew my mind.

You also don't need female crash test dummies, big government testing your rape kit or maternity leave, right?

It's cool for the government to pay for Viagra though. Impotence has way more impact on you and the society you live in than an unwanted baby.

Haha, no they're not.
