Yeah. This was back when I was young enough to still like him from The Man Show. I wanted his talk show to work, but it was... kind of surreal, and really embarrassing. They didn't have a studio audience AT ALL, so it was just Adam Corolla on a couch, making mediocre jokes into the camera, with no laughter or anything. Just dead silence. Dead, crushing silence.

I watched a couple episodes, with a few guest stars I'd never heard of, one of which was Carlos fucking Mencia (they played "Motorcycle or Gay Porn"). I've never seen anything so cringe-inducingly forced.

It got cancelled a few episodes after Steve-O, but this was far and away the best thing that had ever been on Too Late with Adam Corrolla.

Later, I found out he was a blowhard conservative extremist and felt better about the whole thing.

Yeah, I enjoyed him on Loveline and The Man Show. I followed him afterwards and found his podcast a few years ago. He was occasionally funny but often bitched about politics and lazy young people. He came off like a cranky old Republican so I stopped listening. I wouldn't mind downloading his first podcast after the election though, I bet it's fucking hilarious.

Damn near unwatchable.

A lot of people tent to say the same. That "Love Line with him and Dr. Drew was good" or "The Man Show was okay." Somehow I get the feeling that if we were to go back and look at those shows we'd all be disappointed with our younger-self's for ever thinking these people deserved to work.

I used to listen to Loveline at night on KROQ when I was a freshman in high school. I think I liked it so much because I lived with super fundie pentecostal foster parents and thought I was getting away with something by listening to a program that would make them flip their shit, without them knowing about it.

The Man Show had it's moments, but overall it was just...shit, Andy Milonakis and Tom Green have done shit more dignified than some of the stuff they dedicated time to on The Man Show.

I never saw this show but it looks like it was pretty painful to watch.

Also, I never really thought of Adam as a conservative blowhard (I tend to reserve that term for people like Ted Nugent and Rush Limbaugh) but more of a "Durr hurr I wonder who I can offend today by saying stupid cartoonishly stereotypical misogynistic homophobic bullshit".
