It makes me physically uncomfortable knowing that I can't see this movie.

baleen - 2012-12-13

Yeah I scoured the rare torrents sites for anything but it will probably never come to be.

cognitivedissonance - 2012-12-13

It seems to me like it would be a good challenge to just film the script as closely as possible. Who would sue?

Old_Zircon - 2012-12-13

I found a torrent last year and tried to download it even though I knew it had to be a hoax, but it never got past about 15% even after a month.

Syd Midnight - 2012-12-14

According to the Internet Laser Film Squad's original Calculando Calrissian 2000, this is one of the greatest comedies ever.

Jane Error - 2012-12-13

The script, for those who are interested: http://www.dailyscript.com/scripts/the_day_the_clown_cried.html

cognitivedissonance - 2012-12-13

I would give a kidney to see this movie.

kamlem - 2012-12-13

I, too, would give one of your kidneys to see this movie.

spikestoyiu - 2012-12-13

And I would gladly give the other one. And now you're dead.

chumbucket - 2012-12-13

I would give away enough of your remaining organs from your carcass to scam someone into thinking it was an actual kidney in order to be able to get access to see this movie.

Rosebeekee - 2012-12-13

I'd sell the kidneys of everyone on poetv to see this movie with the guys from MST3K riffing it.

Bort - 2012-12-13

For most bad movies, I could see the MST3K guys contributing something positive. But from the sound of it, at best they could detract from the quality (such as it is) of this film.

memedumpster - 2012-12-13

Dean Martin needs to be the possible answer to more conspiracies.

This sounds like an awesome movie and I don't think the Howard Stern Show is capable of recognizing good things.

Hooker - 2012-12-13

Man, nobody would care about this movie if it had always been available.

How many of you guys have seen Caligula, which is arguably the holy grail of insane movie-making idiocy?

Gmork - 2012-12-13

Idiocy? I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was like a porno with malcolm mcdowell in it, PLUS RANDOM ROMAN CRUELTY. Who could object?

McDowell is far more evil in the Guccione version, the things they take away from it make him almost seem whimsical and childish in a less cruel way (in the censored version).

Trust me, you KNOW if you've seen the Guccione version...

memedumpster - 2012-12-13

You could be right, by now we'd have all seen it and knew it sucked or not. It's the not knowing that drives us all mad.

Caligula is Troll2 levels of awesomely bad. Walnuts. All about walnuts. Oh, and midget dick.

Bort - 2012-12-13

"Caligula" is idiocy, but it's idiocy that you can at least make sense of: Guccione wanted to film hot hot debauchery and he used ol' Li'l Boots as the storymaking excuse. Kind of like how "The Passion of the Christ" was an excuse to film hot hot torture.

This Clown thing sounds to be insane in whole new ways.

cognitivedissonance - 2012-12-13

I have the Deluxe Edition. I watch it regularly. You're an idiot for doubting this.

Syd Midnight - 2012-12-14

Any movie edit with at least 10 minutes of cunnilingus and a scene where Malcom McDowell crashes a party and fist-fucks the host is a superior cut.
