That's Dana Gould before he made it big.

The Gex games were generic platform jumping games, but actually pretty high-quality and fun. There were some really imaginative bits here and there.

I will admit the camera in the 3D sequels was sort of a pain in the ass. Gex died countless times because an errant polygon or two blocked my vision.

Ah, Gex. I owned every one of your games.
When I was younger, I thought the games were totally rad, but I didnt always get the tv and film references.
Now that Im older, I realize that the gameplay sucks, but I get almost all the references now, and even have a chuckle at them.
Life pulled the old switcheroo.

I remember playing Gex64 that I rented from Blockbuster. I remember only one of his lines as a clear a day, but nothing else about the game.

"Will Cheech and/or Chong please report to the front desk immediately?"

Needs a Dana Gould tag.

The only line I remember from a Gex game--one of the 3D ones--took place on a China-themed level. It was something like, "I'll finish this level, but in 20 minutes I'll be hungry for another."
