I found out that people actually payed for this movie and this is the result of two whole years of work.

You know, I heard Jaleel White turned down the lead in "Django Unchained" to do this instead.

The former Urkel is very much in demand.

At a guess, I'd say this is done in a similar way to how Uwe Boll films get actors you've heard of to be in his latest video game catastrophe films: You just hit up the actors' agents with a pitch along the lines of "here's the title, we only need your guy/gal for about five minutes, and here's what we pay."

If there's no pay involved, I'm betting they hit up the "if we get noticed and a studio wants to throw money at us to make a real movie, you're first in line for the call" angle.

What about the actors who aren't Internet Celebrities, has-beens or name actors, if there are any in this? I'd like to find out what they think.

Same here. It'd be interesting to see Davey Kins Foxfire in one of these, complete with his artificial arm that has a permanent connection to the internet.

Godd, I love that the Sonic fans would find something asinine to complain about.

Watching this, I kept thinking that maybe if you were just diehard into Sonic, you could overlook the awkwardness and the fact that Sonic literally sounds like me making fun of Sonic. APPARENTLY NOT.
