I want to fart in your face.

Binro the Heretic - 2013-01-20

What was the line in "Transmetropolitan"?

"Vampires sucking the life from people whose only sin was to be tired and scared?"

Something along those lines.

Miss Henson's 6th grade class - 2013-01-20

What really creeps me out about these guys is the faux-fifties tech-lingo they seem to like. At least other religious cults keep an appropriate sense of mystery and dread going. This looks like being brainwashed by the "business" section of your local Barnes and Noble.

Also, his gaydar is sharp, but did he have to drag these clams' sexual orientation into it? I would have stuck to the high road.

Scrotum H. Vainglorious - 2013-01-20

Everyone has crazy eyes in this video

simon666 - 2013-01-20

Scientology? More like Lyin'-tology! AMIRITE?

Paracelsus - 2013-01-20

I'm looking forward to reading the latest expose of these maniacs.

Miss Henson's 6th grade class - 2013-01-20

I'm in the middle of "Going Clear" right now. It is absolutely amazing.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2013-01-20

Damn. I didn't realize until after doing some googling about a few of the people in this video that not only to they expect Hubbard to RETURN, they've got a mansion waiting for him (that I'm sure nobody uses).

Not to mention their Sea Org compound has bunkers and motion detectors around the perimeter.

I can't wait for that place to become like Jacko's Neverland.

Paracelsus - 2013-01-21

Scientology always amazes me with:

1) Its perceived as opposed to actual power;
2) Its inherent, greasy tawdriness;
3) Its depths.

I am glad to hear that expose is good. I can't wait.

Aelric - 2013-01-20

Is that Tasha Yar? I really hope that isn't Tasha Yar.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2013-01-20

I don't think so, but that is a Star Trek font at 1:58.

EnochEmery - 2013-01-20

That is Debbie Cook, who left Scientology after being stuck in the Hole (the infamous Scientology prison for execs that piss off Miscavige) and physically and mentally abused. Last year she sent a letter to other Scientologists and was then harassed and sued by the cult in Texas. When she went on the stand in court they hastily made a deal to shut her up but not before she told some interesting stories like how she endured "a 12-hour ordeal at the California base where she was made to stand in a trash can while fellow executives poured water over her, screamed at her and said she was a lesbian."

Is the use of sexual labels as insults something that Scientology teaches its members or is it somehow encouraged? They seem to use an awful lot of them as their go-to insults of choice.

EnochEmery - 2013-01-20

Hubbard was notoriously homophobic. Being gay is supposedly 1.1 on his ridiculous Tone Scale (covert hostility). "Such people should be taken from the society as rapidly as possible and uniformly institutionalized; for here is the level of the contagion of immorality, and the destruction of ethics...No social order which desires to survive dares overlook its stratum 1.1's. No social order will survive which does not remove these people from its midst." The later church tends to avoid the issue but they supported Prop 8 in California. It's one reason they get so testy about Tom Cruise gay rumors.

Hubbard's gay son Quentin committed suicide in 1976 after years of abuse from his father including being stuck in Scientology's "RPF" prison.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2013-01-21

It is much, much more likely he murdered his gay son after his son came out as gay and wrote a tell all book exposing Scientology wide open for the public, including details of how his father gave him LSD and wrote down his ramblings as scripture (stuff about us evolving from clams, for instance).

The claim was he killed himself in his car via carbon monoxide poisoning, with the tailpipe set up in the car window but no traces of carbon monoxide were actually found. The Clearwater police, not surprisingly declared it a suicide.

cognitivedissonance - 2013-01-21

Also, word round the campfire is that Scientology has an entire squad devoted to hounding gay rumors attached to their wealthier members, particularly if there's blackmail involved. This is why there's a lot of "heartthrob" sorts of stars attached to Scientology.

Jargon awareness and its sinister usage should be taught by third grade. This is the only way to retabulate the projected samadhi forward to meet a priori predeterminations.

CrimsonHyperSloth - 2013-01-20

Once I became aware of jargon, i was surprised how little is being said by so many.

Sputum - 2013-01-20

You, too, could be white and wear a suit.

rustedmutt - 2013-01-20

That's some impressive word salad.

misterbuns - 2013-01-20

Angry Gay Pope.

That guy was a mess.

snothouse - 2013-01-21

The clips speak for themselves. Once again, editors do not need to be adding their hilarious commentary.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2013-01-22

it is irritating but the quotes are breathtaking.

Jet Bin Fever - 2013-01-23

I can't not 5 star a Scientology video, as I think it is the center of so much evil. However, I don't think this video needed as much editing as they used, because the idiocy just permeates throughout the whole of Scientology... you don't need to jazz it up. Unless that is, you want to Space Jazz it up.
