I mean, I suppose this is a conspiracy theory, but it shouldn't be terribly controversial to anyone who even superficially examines American politics.
The rest of what he said wasn't really crazy. It seemed like the interviewer was trying to lead him towards fringe conspiracy answers with questions, but he was pretty reasoned about everything. The ghosts and aliens thing seemed like his way of saying "I have no idea but here's a silly bit of speculation."

memedumpster - 2013-01-24 A fun experiment is to pretend you're a benevolent dictator who has decided to divide the entire military budget and give it to the 4 million people attached to the military industrial complex for their livelihoods. Do the math and then be shocked we have tanks and aircraft at all.
