The breakdown potential of the human skin is only 400-500V, so this is actually reasonably dangerous

chairsforcheap - 2013-01-24 oh yeah, i should have mentioned i know nothing of electricity other than the time i grabbed onto a cow pasture wire with both hands while standing waist deep in a muddy creek in full scuba gear, because i tapped it, received no shock, and assumed it was off

"The batteries are being disposed of properly."
By which I assume he takes them to a community theater production of "Godspell" and whips them at the actors.
|
Old_Zircon - 2013-01-24 I just assumed he's already in the cast of a community theater production of "Godspell" because how else are you going to get that many free batteries?

I'm surprised none of the batteries burst. This guy is lucky he didn't set his house on fire. I hear voices, footsteps, etc. in the background. Is this guy married? Does he have kids? does his wife know about this?

Coulda sworn this was already on here.
It's cute how he thinks that the LED is flashing twice rather than it being a rolling shutter effect of his camera, and I'm amazed that the high levels of voltage combined with the internal resistance didn't make them catch on fire even when he was just measuring the voltage.

Old_Zircon - 2013-01-24 Same here, and within the past week too, but I can't find it. Maybe Youtube's recommendations are finally starting to work (spoiler: they aren't).
