Also last time I heard of something like this happening around here, the two robbers ended up tying the guy to a chair and stabbing him about 50 times over the course of an hour or so just because they felt like it. This guy is lucky.

Most of the stoners I know live under a highway overpass and have no posters at all, Bob Marley or otherwise.

Most of the stoners I know are either grubby artists or musicians who are also electronics hoarders, or successful professionals. I've worked at a few plces over the years that let people deal out of the back and you would be surprised how many lawyers and doctors and ivy league professors buy large amounts of weed. Not even good weed half the time.

Anyhow, this looks like it's some kind of rivalry where stereotypical mellow stoner dude has been dealing and started cutting into the wrong people's business.

There are people who are stoners, and then there are people for whom "stoner" is a lifestyle choice.

I don't see how the cops would have a problem helping the pothead, provided he really does have his Green card. They *want* to take his pot away from him - this way, they get to book two arrests, and confiscate the pot as evidence.
