I mainly posted this as a place to as just how many New Englanders there are on here, anyway? It seems like there are a lot.
Raggamuffin - 2013-03-03
Well, I'm a New Englander. Football is the sport I follow the least though so I don't know how to rate this?

Old_Zircon - 2013-03-03
Man, that previous post of mine is a disaster, grammatically speaking.

EvilHomer - 2013-03-03
I don't follow football, either. All I know about the Patriots is that they were supposed to move to Hartford, and that this move was the centerpiece of a massive economic stimulus plan for a city that's really only known for it's murder rate and for producing assault rifles (Colt WOOOO!). But they backed out at the last minute, leaving Hartford with a brand new, taxpayer funded, half-a-billion dollar stadium complex and no sports team to put there.

Not that I blame them.

Old_Zircon - 2013-03-03
Hartford's probably better off, there's no solid evidence that sports are actually a net gain for local economies and plenty of evidence that they're a net loss for local communities.

Old_Zircon - 2013-03-03
Actually, I take that back. It's substantially true as far as I know, but I'm just not comfortable saying that Hartford is "better off" in any context at all.

EvilHomer - 2013-03-03
So are you from New England, too, or does Hartford's bad name reach beyond the Pale?

chumbucket - 2013-03-03
I live in Vermont but am not at all about following the Patriots.

From Cape Ann originally, in Providence these days. Lived in Boston most of my adult life.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2013-03-03
Well that's a shame. I'm sure it would have been hilarious, and not at all lame and childish.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2013-03-03
What are you referring to, by the way? Anything I've ever submitted that was something I jerked off to was accepted.
