5 for evil.
"We have gone into an age of religious McCathryism, where we are seeking out religion, as a nation, to eradicate it, in very forthright ways."
I agree. In fact I recall religious buildings being burned down by bigots, mass protests against peaceful community centers, laws written to ban the practice of religion and institute a state theology, a mass media attempt to indoctrinate the public into fearing benign religious practices, and the declaration from the highest levels of government that religions were dangerous ideologies that deserved no free speech protection.
Unfortunately for your point, these were Muslims targeted by Christians.
They're gonna jerk it off?
Bin Laden won, when you actually examine in objectively.
I'm looking forward to what the rest of the world's history books will say about the past 30-odd years.
Bin Laden accomplished his primary goal of removing American troops from Saudi Arabia, within 2 years.
We've subsequently confirmed many of the points of his rhetoric with every drone strike.
That Bin Laden was an alright dude, I'm sure glad us atheists are taking his side now.
The Middle East won thanks to their lack of gun control laws.

Huh..funny...way I remember it is that it was one of your boys, Bush Jr. and his Jesus-y pal Giuliani who decided that looking for the remains of the dead wasn't worth bothering with so they just bulldozed away our chances of finding them in order to build a pointless, hollow monument to the utter stupidity of ourselves over their graves.
Every time a Christian speaks, God doesn't exist that much harder.
You would too if you were God.
Iīve seen that cross, and if thatīs what you call perfect, then your standards of perfection are pretty low, buddy.
Religious McCarthyism. Meaning that religion really is the enemy? Or that the McCarthyites are using an attack on religion to disguise a lust for power?
I don't get why a religious person would knowningly use that analogy.
I just hate the stupid cross for aesthetic reasons. It cheapens the memorial with kitsch, just as the statues added to the Vietnam Memorial do.
What's wrong with kitsch?
This is New York, home of The Village and James St James. Kitsch is part of the heritage, baby!
