Wow. T. Hawk and Nightwolf could never hope to out do the level of stereotyping "Billy Two Moons" brings to the table.

There was another video of Tattoo Assassins somewhere on this site, but this is more, uh, comprehensive.

I read an article recently on I think RockPaperShotgun where they interviewed the guys from Data East that worked on this (it never was actually released). Hope I can find it.

I'd just like to start off by saying Wikipedia is full of shit. Whoever edited their article on Tattoo Assassins is a liar, and a lazy, no-source-checking weasel. Early press material boasted that the game was going to have over 2000 fatalities *when finished*, but it never actually got finished, and the surviving arcade prototype has about sixty finishing moves total. If that! Very disappointing.

Also, this video seems to be missing the Nudalities. No discussion of Tattoo Assassins is complete without mentioning the Nudalities! Sadly, the game designer couldn't even get those right, the results are real blocky and SFW, but at least their hearts were in the right place. (?)

Holy fucking shit, where does one begin? Hammertime? Eagle flaying? Eagle acid shit? Humpcatting (similar to Bear Blasting!)? Skeleton Guitar power? Derek's poo on a plate that kills them both? The Zamboni? the cruise ship? The last three? Goddamn this is the best game ever.

wow, if I wanted to play a ripoff of Mortal Kombat II, I'd just play a ROM of Mortal Kombat II.
