That was a pretty cool idea....for a cop.
This was one of my favorite episodes. It's the mane inspiration for my current attitudes towards Van Halen, country music videos, and cops.

It's not enough that MTV plasters their logo and channel on screen but they have to make them animated as well.

Beavis & Butthead isn't the same without the music videos. I'm glad I can at least see these episodes online.
Without videos, only the first three or four seasons are even watchable, and the official versions of those have been so heavily edited at this point that they're like 5 minutes long.
When I was a kid, I got frustrated with the music videos. I just wanted to watch the episode, and it seemed like every time the story started picking up, boom, along comes a music video and now I gotta wait five minutes to see what happens next.
But when I got older, and I started seeing un-edited episodes on DVD and the internet, I realized how much those videos contributed to the experience. You're right, the show isn't the same without them.
They're where almost all the character development happened.

^^ YES. Which is a really surprising and wonderful thing. You go from a clip of them trying to set something on fire or hurting themselves to them making fun of what a pussy Morrissey is. It's great.
Thank you for posting this.
