There are hundreds of videos on this channel, each more infuriating than the last.

I'm wondering if the host is VenomfangX's dad.

Kieran27 - 2013-05-12

Unlikely. VenomfangX's family have gone on record saying their son needs help. They're not supportive of his religious obsession.

The "in yo face" pastor is Todd Friel. Wretched is basically the official radio show/whatever of Ray Comfort's "Way of the Master" ministry.
Friel is a particularly nauseating douchebag of the highest order whose show is generally just this dumb echo chamber where anyone who calls in with contrary views gets a response generally like "Oh, we don't have time on the show for live discussion like this" (on a call-on show). He's also a big, BIG fan of the retarded fundie argument "Prove that atheism is correct."

On one episode he invited Christopher Hitchens to call in for a "live debate" which consisted of Friel basically not allowing Hitchens to talk except to give short, terse, retardedly simplistic answers to ridiculous questions like "Shouldn't you be thankful to God for creating you? YES OR NO ONLY!!" Entertainingly, Hitchens' honest answers made Friel's head explode because he apparently thought this set-up would somehow TOTALLY INTELLECTUALLY OUT-CHECKMATE HITCHENS or something. The complete audio of the call is easy to find on the internet.

Thanks for the info! I've never wanted to punch a Christian as bad as I want to punch this Friel guy.

Do you know what denomination this "Way of the Master" thing is?

EvilHomer - 2013-05-12

Ohhh, right, Ray Comfort, the banana dude. This just keeps getting worse and worse.

Xenocide - 2013-05-12

He appears to be the Mirror Universe version of Bill Nye.

StanleyPain - 2013-05-13

I have no idea what Comfort's denomination is, though I'm guessing he's probably one of those "I have no denomination I'm a TRUE CHRISTIAN" given how much he shit talks pretty much all Christians who don't buy into his particularly extreme theology.

God has to be such an insecure school girl if he needs so much attention.

TeenerTot - 2013-05-13

Can you imagine what god's YouTube channel would look like?

I love the reenactment so damn much. The generic pipe-smoking professor stereotype. His penchant for repeating everything he says. And her devastatingly brilliant line of questioning:

"Professor, how does natural selection work?"

"GEE, I DON'T KNOW."

"Okay, well, isn't it mathematically unlikely to have happened?"

"Yes. And unlikely is the same as impossible! Suddenly I believe in God!"

In case anybodies wondering the answers to the questions she was asking.

1. Disastrous Mutations: Mutations aren't disasters. Most mutations are neutral (I think) some are beneficial, and some can be disastrous. Sometimes the neutral mutations can turn into positive or negative ones if the environment of the species changes.

2. blah blah blah big numbers. She's asking how it's possible to role six dice, six times and get the rolls to come out 123456 in each corresponding dice: This is not what happens though, it's actually rolling until you get a 1, then rolling until you get a 2 ect. ect. you keep rolling until you get the right number (hurray your mutation was beneficial) or it takes to long to get the dice roll you need and you're eaten by a predator.

3. Where's the missing link? and the far far more ignorant, how come we don't have fossils of a mouse evolving into a cat?: Remember that episode of futurama (post reboot) were the professor says he doesn't want to live on this planet anymore? well this is why. There are in fact numerous transitional fossils. If, for no other reason. EVERY FOSSIL IS TRANSITIONAL. Members of the cruckoduck species that are alive today will find themselves in different environments than the rest of their species. The slight variations in individual members of the cruckoducks in the new environment will start to influences who lives and who dies. Who gets to do the nasty and who dies a virgin. Eventually the slight variations increase to the point that they're no longer slight but massive, and eventually they get to the point that they are no longer cruckoducks but a knew species entirely. and any fossil found shows that occurrence taking place.

I don't think this conversation happened. I can accept that this man was once a professor of something. But, I'm more inclined to believe that he has some form of psychosis. And instead of him thinking he's Jesus or Lincoln, he thinks he's a college professor.

I actually think the whole video is bullshit, and a fabrication.

at least shitty half ass answers. to the questions. Also the above was not meant to be a reply.

cognitivedissonance - 2013-05-13

An atheist professor needs tenure, doesn't care where he gets it.

Spaceman Africa - 2013-05-13

This is the worst professor I've ever seen. It's like a real life Chick Tract

Kieran27 - 2013-05-13

I was just going to say it smacked of a Chick Tract (specifically "Big Daddy") Who knows, maybe that's where they got the idea.

That guy - 2015-06-09
