There's brilliant John Carpenter, and then there's...this.

Netflix has really been depressing me lately. I keep seeing recent sub-SyFy movies directed by former greats. John Carpenter seems to do them exclusively now, and I just stumbled across "Splatter", a horrendous series starring zombie Corey Feldman directed by Joe Dante :(

I actually watched this on Showtime back in the early '90s. I remember liking it. It was also the first time I had seen Mark Hamill since Return of the Jedi, so maybe I was just in shock because holy shit, Luke Skywalker has a mustache.
