OK, so for those of you who (like me) are rolling your eyes and grumbling about the logical inconsistency of placing a military vessel under martial law, I just looked up the story, and the game organizers got that plothole covered. According to the official website, their vessel is a state of the art reconnaissance frigate that served in the First Cylon War and was later *decommissioned* (this is the important part) and sold to a private corporation to be used as a science vessel. So the current crew are, in fact, civvies, and the Marines commandeering the vessel are doing something which the inworld participants might view as a violation of their Colonial Constitutionally-guaranteed rights.

But this raises a couple questions, questions which I don't see answers for. One, why is a reconnaissance vessel designed to conduct deep space surveillance of Cylon-held territory so hi-tech? The whole problem with fighting Cylons was that Cylons were experts at turning technology against the Colonial Navy. Now I know what you're thinking: obviously, the ship's electronic warfare systems were Cylon War-compliant. And I'm sure they were... in the Cylon War. But the ship's been in the private sector for, what, almost twenty years now, and what private corporation is going to keep a research vessel in it's original, low-tech configuration? Remember, the Galactica only fared as well as it did because it was more or less a relic, a floating museum piece that relied on rotary phones and hand-delivered letters.

Two, the website mentions that some people are "fighter pilots". Uhhh, I'm sorry, what? They're on a Monitor, not a Battlestar. Where, pray tell, are these fighter pilots supposed to be docking and launching from?! Kobold H Christ. Now I' willing to believe that the Celestra would have a Raptor bay, but Raptor pilots AREN'T FIGHTER PILOTS. I'd also be willing to believe that the Marines would have a compliment of fighters on hand; obviously the Marines are coming from somewhere, and their vessel may well be equipped with fighter tubes. But if that's the case, then what are the "Marine" pilots doing onboard the Celestra? Shouldn't they be, oh I dunno, flying formation around the Celestra IN THEIR FIGHTERS, or better yet, back on the Marine's ship, waiting for a reason to burn fuel? And how did they get onboard in the first place? What, just land your Vipers in the civilian bays, bays which are probably packed with Marine Raptors already? Your Vipers, which are most likely new models infected with Caprica 6's virus anyway? Oh, oh, sure, yeah, maybe these pilots are survivors fleeing from a Cylon asswhupping. Well, these pilots wouldn't be ALIVE if they met the Cylons; the Cap6 virus doesn't give you a second chance. USE YOUR BRAINS, YOU SWEDISH FRAKKING MORONS.

But other than that, looks pretty good.
