The depression era Stooges shorts have some of the tightest comic timing ever filmed. Sure they're not Buster Keaton or whatever, but they aren't supposed to be. I've read that Hitler loved them - don't tell me you're disagreeing with HITLER.

Will Sasso is pretty funny on his own. This was just a bad idea from top to bottom, but even critics give the Stooge actors props for doing the best they could with what they're given.

Larry ended up looking like Gangie on the Ganges though. Most horrifying makeup work ever.
