I'm going through a stressful period in my life that can only be resolved through uncomfortable waiting, so I recently tried to take my mind off the stress of reality by spending time on gaming forums. Normally I spend a lot of time reading highfalutin' fancy-pants cityboy magazines like The Atlantic and The Economist, and I figured ignoring important things to focus on the trivial would be a nice break.
And yet somehow, reading the comments section of any given gaming site makes me lose more faith in humanity than a year's worth of Al Jazeera.
Yeah thats a bad idea. I think checking out gaming forums is like some kind of hiding from reality in a land of total inane-stupidity. Reminds me of when I was doing my architecture thesis project and I ended up reading through 4 or 5 harry potter books in the space of like 2 days.
You should try and do something positive that will relax you. Try going for runs, working out, playing sport and things of that ilk.
