It's a miracle that this scene hasn't been turned into a meme, though having to edit the video and audio is harder than just giving hitler new subtitles.

Maybe you could have given me an accurate translation of that Latin a little sooner, huh?

As I recall, the last line here was one of many laughs that reverberated around the theater. Seriously, there were a lot of unintentionally funny bits in this film.

WHO WANTS DESSERT - 2013-07-31 This movie is terrifying in the very specific context of being a kid in the late-90s who has never seen any of the (better) movies that were ripped off.
This movie could have been a lot better if it wasn't made at the hands of Paul W.S. Anderson: The King of Hacks

The Notre Dame themed sets in this movie are beautiful. I am still in love with how wonderful this totally derivative shlockfest looks. This is on my list of movies it took me two viewings to like.

Pretty chill about not bothering to ever clean up those encrusted blood and guys off the window.
"Childhood trauma"? Man now I feel old.

SolRo - 2013-07-31 They didn't bring Val Kilmer The Space Janitor.
And it would have been a very depressing cleaning montage.

Sometimes, the POETV hive-mind announces itself in unusual ways.

there was a certain type of cinematic sleaze in the 1990s that culminated from a number of disparate contributing factors including the massive industrialization taking place and the heroin epidemic. the strange sexual undertones in kids movies alone could be the subject of a research paper, but more interesting to me was the pitch black cinematic gut punches like this, side kicks, north, falling down, and so many more. truly a cultural death knell in the best sort of way.

infinite zest - 2013-07-31 Honestly I liked this movie. I mean, I was like 13 or 14 so I hadn't yet brushed up on my Kubrick or Antonioni, but it was a fun horror movie. Plus it's in Space.

Haha I remember sneaking into this movie the same day as our family got a puppy.
