This movie has a very unexpected ending to say the least.
My partner and I were sure it was going to end with a disco dance party. We were so extremely taken aback.

YES (though my first time watching it was with a bottle of Mount Gay and a pound of Sour Patch Kids, which put me into a state comparable to a gas mask filled with PCP)
There's another movie like this, I think it's called Disco 9000, about conspiracy in the disco business and what records get played. Boomer
