The British version of The Big Bang Theory was pretty good, even if it was a little more surreal than its American counterpart
I am pretty sure this is before Big Bang Theory, so that would make BBT an American dumbed down cultural-reference-driven IT-crowd. I even think they made an American pilot of the IT crowd with Joel McHale as Roy and Richard Ayonade as Moss.
