I had one of these on my back and went to an NP to have it removed. Local anesthetic, a scalpel and a few tugging sensations later and it was gone. The stuff that came out of me was clear-ish, however, though the NP and her nurse claimed it smelled awful.

had something like that on my neck, it was close enough to my face that i could smell, and yes it was was pretty bad. got a cool scar though. i tell people its where my unformed twin was attached

I had a problem with an abdominal abscess a few years back, I had an appointment to have it operated on and suddenly, a small bump on the lump that announced it's presence on my abdomen just sort of popped and I had a long thin streamer of pale brown pus come spurting out and that stank. I mean, really stank.

Since we're sharing cyst stories, I had a huge sebaceous cyst on my face that I had to go to an urgent care for. It started off like a small lump and I thought it was a blind-head, but by the time it really started to emerge, I realized this fucker was not going to pop. It got bigger to the point where it was actually starting to distort my profile and swell my left eye almost shut. It became so sensitive I couldn't sleep with the left side of my face on the pillow. I did two sessions at the urgent care to get it popped, and even then it was weeks before the inflammation went down to the point where you could definitively say it was "gone." The procedure was extremely painful because the cyst had swollen to the point where the anesthetic was pretty much ineffective. The antibiotics they gave me afterwards caused me to break out in a big full body rash too. I did get some vicodin out of it though.
