Not the field of entertainment that I would expect somebody to come out in...
...but at the same time, this is exactly the field of entertainment I would expect somebody to come out in.
In any case, this guy is going to get some mondo heat.
There's already been a few wrestlers who came out of the closet. And I really doubt he's going to catch that much flak, at least not when compared to the spike in popularity he'll see. These days, being gay is a great career move, and John Cena's already got his back (in a manner of speaking, hehe) so if I had to guess, I'd say he's about to experience a tilt-a-whirl sideslam of people falling all over themselves to show how tolerant and progressive they are. At least in public.
I think the few that have come out have done so after they retired. Or at least left the big leagues. Pat Patterson's orientation has been the worst kept secret in wrestling forever. Kanyon came out after he was fired by the WWE and I believe he tried to bring about a wrongful termination suit.
Black Cena, White Cena, and Cena_mark, finally all out of the closet.
please let this turn out betta than kanyon
Shoulda saved my stars.

An entertainment form where men who worship their bodies, dress up in flamboyant outfits and act out soap opera level plots has gays involved!? Now I've seen all.

And you know what other industry is gay? Broadway.
Irish Homeboy Interviewer (or IHI, TM 'The Mothership, 2013) is way too surprised here, I call set-up.

TMZ is not and will never be relevant.
Oh boy! A wrestler I don't care about has a sexual preference that's really none of my business in the first place! Thanks, TMZ, for continuing to deliver the hardhitting journalism.
"summerslam" just sounds gay anyway. Oh and TMZ is total crap.
The theater has always been rife with gaiety.
It's hard to take anything seriously when the interview is performed in a jolly Gaelic accent with Irish flute music nonstop in the background.
