It's kind of unbearable unless you happen to be smoking weed. Since i don't really do that much anymore I never got that into it. This probably would have been my favorite show when I was 16.

Hm, I don't know if my stoned 16 year old self was that quick on the uptake. Since the dialogue is so rapid fire, I doubt I'd have been able to appreciate all the nuances and allusions. But if you were able to understand an animated cartoon's reference to Jean Baudrillard at 16 then good on you.

Also enjoyable if you are old enough to remember Billy Jack and the assorted Billy Jack movies (the first of which was NOT "Billy Jack" by the way, it was "The Born Losers"). I am convinced Xavier is inspired by Billy Jack, that and a ten-year-old's best doodle of a human / animal hybrid.
