Wow. That's really boring.

Also: we're back online, yay!

I was worried this place got shut down just like POE red. Also, I just discovered this, which I think is hilarious:

POETV is not a very good website, but it does work for the government to follow old people who have been snooping around where they don't belong. POETV works by rounding up a legal posse (a Posse Comitatus) given special responsibilities by the President Barack Hussein Obama to follow and blunt the efforts of people who SEE TOO MUCH from reporting what they know. You cannot stop them. A thousand of you cannot stop them. They are everywhere you are!

This is 10 minutes of time lapsed boring because RPG grinding is one of the most self-involved and exclusive aspects of gaming. There's a certain thrill to leveling up for the player, but watching someone else walk in a circle for hours is not very much fun at all.

This video makes me wonder how many collective years of my life I've wasted on intense grinds.

"game"

Lapse it some more.

Jet Bin Fever - 2013-10-08

lol, he tried to name himself kefka, like that guy from Final Fantasy right? Dude must be so cool IRL.

HarrietTubmanPI - 2013-10-08

The name determines your stats throughout the game. That's the main reason why it was chosen.

kingofthenothing - 2013-10-08

You can beat this around level 20. The extra 10 levels are just pointless grinding. I heard a rumor a long time ago that you could get an airship if you got level 30, and even that wouldn't be worth it.

HarrietTubmanPI - 2013-10-08

True, but the entire game time lapsed had never been done before so I figured why not. I find the growth in stats hypnotic, even to level 30.

FABIO - 2013-10-09

I knew a bunch of CS majors whose idea of a fun Thursday night was getting six dudes together to watch one dude play through Final Fantasy 10 which they had all already beaten before. Not even play through the storyline, just grind.

Quad9Damage - 2013-10-09

I remember a guy in high school who bragged about getting everyone to level 99 in Final Fantasy VII and maxing out the time clock.

I hear he has not matured one iota.
