Okay, I guess, but I was hoping it had something to do with the canceled-too-soon TV series starring Gary Cole.

This commercial wouldn't even be understood today.
ashtar.
Ha ha, remember when fine art was even slightly relevant to society?

memedumpster
I meant no one knows what a farmer is now. People would think these are the God's Hand Killers. Dirt-folk don't look like this anymore. Since you did bring up the art, however...

Art is the height of vanity, its messages too personal to be relevant, its mediums too diverse to have standards. Each one an act of masturbation in color, sound, and other gateways to the brain of the unfortunate beholder. Art demands we respect the artist without understanding, and value the art because of this respect. But why?

Old_Zircon
What's wrong with masturbation?

ashtar.
According to the doctrine of "l'art pour l'art", in order for something to be true art, it must be done entirely for its own sake.
Masturbation totally counts.

memedumpster
Masturbation is the finest art.

luckymew
