This kid has more money and more opportunities than you ever will. Think about that for a minute.

Oscar Wildcat - 2013-12-10

HE'S A JOB CREATOR! HE NEEDS MOAR TAX CUTZ!

EvilHomer - 2013-12-10

The state doesn't deserve his money any more than he does.

Oscar Wildcat - 2013-12-10

l'etat c'est moi.

Riskbreaker - 2013-12-10

Yes, opportunities to make a fool of himself....for all eternity.

EvilHomer - 2013-12-10

Tell you what, Mister Wildcat. If you can guarantee me that the money extorted from Jaden Smith will be spent on things like space exploration and basic income for all citizens, and not on things like drone strikes, wiretapping programs, and welfare bailouts for failed multinational corporations, then maybe we could start to formulate some kind of utilitarian argument in favor of taxing the piss out of the Smith family.

Anyway, I think we can agree that in this instance, the real problem is not that there are rich people who create jobs and have more money than the rest of us, but that some rich people - entertainers, for example - do not really deserve the mind-blowing amount of economic compensation to which they currently feel entitled. But that's a problem which can't really be solved through simple taxation - even if taxation was a punitive tool meant to liquidate political undesirables, which it is not. Rather, you'd have to get to the source of the problem - like in this particular case, we could start by ending all the "legislative welfare" we grant to Hollywood, such as our government's current habit of redefining copyright law to suit the interests of media empires whose business models are no longer tenable. Stop fighting historical inevitability, and let media conglomerates go the way of every other business that's been destroyed by the relentless march of technology in the past; mouthbreathing film actors, like Will and Jadan, will stop raking in obscene amounts of money for no good reason, and the universe, will be in balance. Nam myoho renge kyo.

That guy - 2013-12-10

You should start a twitter account.

Oscar Wildcat - 2013-12-10

The utilitarian argument is based on the fact that without any countervailing force, money will tend to distribute over the population as a power law (Pareto distribution is the traditional model). The state could burn the money for all I care, what matters is bending that curve. I don't think democracies as such can survive very long under a natural distribution of wealth. A lot of our social problems now are due to all the artificial stops having been systematically removed from that process. The last bulwark against complete capitulation is the so called Death Tax. When you see that repealed, you will know the middle class has lost and the poor are to be ground into hamburger.

MOAR TAX KUTZ, YOU FUCKERS!

Old People - 2013-12-10

gravelstudios - 2013-12-10

Jet Bin Fever - 2013-12-10

It's still funny, years later.

craptacular - 2013-12-11

take 'em

The God of Biscuits - 2013-12-10

At 0:07, the guy in the video types "t" and the first two things that pop up are "torrentz.com" and "thepiratebay.sx".

Also, something something Jaden Smith.

BorrowedSolution - 2013-12-10

I, for one, am extremely distressed to learn that there are no longer any nutrients in our water. NWO; THIS IS THE LAST STRAW!

Jet Bin Fever - 2013-12-10

This kid's thetans are so clear, you guys have NO IDEA.

Oscar Wildcat - 2013-12-10

STABFACE - 2013-12-10

Does He Think That The Weird Capitalizing Makes His Bullshit Seem More Profound?

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2013-12-10

If everybody dropped out of school they could focus more on XENU!

This kid is not only dumb, he's proud of his pigfucking cult member ignorance. And the Karate Kid was a steaming pile of SHIT. The CGI backflip ending. I wanted Mr. Miyagi to come back from the dead and kick the shit out of everyone involved.

memedumpster - 2013-12-10

I wonder if he knows that staring at the sun will give him superpowers?

Hooker - 2013-12-10

My second-favourite Twitter account after Florida Man and one of only four I'm subscribed to. The tweets are so staggeringly stupid that I have to believe it's a gimmick.

boner - 2013-12-10

There is much crazier celebrity shit on Twitter. I suggest Yoko Ono and Jose Canseco for a start.

BHWW - 2013-12-10

My favorite response to a Jaden Smith tweet was to this one "If everyone in school dropped out we would have a much more intelligent society" from rapper Tyler the Creator "YOU ACTUALLY KIND OF SOUND LIKE AN IDIOT"

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2013-12-11

I visited his piece of shit page and mined these gems. Enjoy.

"If You Turned The State Of Alabama Into One Giant Farm, The Land Area Could Grow Enough Food To Support 10 billion People."

"I Encourage You All To Unfollow Me So I Can Be Left With The People Who Actually Appreciate Philosophy And Poetry."

"We Need To Stop Teaching The Youth About The Past And Encourage Them To Change The Future."

"When I Die. Then You Will Realize."

What, that you were a moron? I can realize that now!

oddeye - 2014-12-10

10 billion???

Mister Yuck - 2018-12-10

In 2013, the United States had 914,030,000 acres of land in cultivation.

Alabama is 32,480,000 acres. Including water. And mountains.

pyslexic dharmacist - 2013-12-15
