I had to IMDB Scorses before I watched this just to make sure he actually didn't direct Blank Check. That would have been worse than Coppola directing Jack.
I try to repress the memory. That was the worst film he ever made. The premise could have been hilarious with Robin Williams and instead it was just depressing as fuck (just like Bicentennial Man..ugh..ugh...UGH)
Shutter Island was shitty too and I guessed the stupid plot five minutes in. BOOO.
I thought Shutter Island was a really good Hollywood movie and Kundun was alright.
Do you guys really react this strongly to movies you don't like, or do you just feel compelled to punch up your opinions? Because if it's the latter, I would suggest you should probably cut in the other direction, both in terms of your opinions of movies and your opinions of everything else.
