It's nice know, Warren Buffet has now joined the ranks many other cultural icons such as The Beatles, Kid N' Play, MC Hammer, The Jacksons, Puffy Ami Yumi, New Kids on the Block, Jerry Lewis, Abbot and Costello, Laurel and Hardy, The Three Stooges, Muhammad Ali, Mr. T, The Harlem Globetrotters, Chuck Norris, Roseanne Barr, John Candy, Jackie Chan, The Olsen Twins, Robert Evans, Hulk Hogan (and other 80s wrestlers), Bo Jackson, Micahel Jordon, and Wayne Gretsky for having a shitty cartoon based around him.

Plus let's not forget all the guest stars on "The New Scooby Doo Movies"

Jackie Chan Adventures was awesome, you take that back!

Old_Zircon - 2014-01-28

The theme song clearly stole its hook from a song my high school band wrote as a joke when I was 14, I should sue.

Old People - 2014-01-28

I was about to say almost the same thing. This sounds like the kind of song a high school band would write to make fun of shitty pop music. It is resoundingly awful.

chumbucket - 2014-01-28

kids these days talk like this

namtar - 2014-01-28

So this is like Captain Planet but from the point of view of the villains when they were kids?

Oscar Wildcat - 2014-01-28

So much to consider, Racketeer! But fresh out of the gate, it delivers with the first important piece of advice. If you want to be rich, you need to be secret friends with Warren Buffet. Can you say, "front running", kiddies?

infinite zest - 2014-01-28

Awful. I could only make it in 4 minutes. Please, please please tell me they don't play this in middle school Econ at public schools now.

EvilHomer - 2014-01-28

God, I hope not. Warren Buffet is a nice guy and all, but he's also a doddering old Keynesian.

Xenocide - 2014-01-28

Apparently this was a pilot for the Hub network that never made series.

It's too bad, I was looking forward to their crossover with Alan Greenspan's Secret Global Economy Ruiners' Club.

EvilHomer - 2014-01-28

Littlest Sweatshop!!!

Racketeer - 2014-01-28

Actually, they did produce more episodes, the Wikipedia article lists 17. The Hub Network does air episodes, just at 9:00 AM on Sundays.

infinite zest - 2014-01-28

Is that the channel that still plays those SeaQuests? Shit looks like it was filmed underwater yesterday!

EvilHomer - 2014-01-28

I don't believe they air SeaQuest. The Hub is Hasbro's network, and is really only relevant for airing My Little Pony. I think they also air reruns of ALF and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, but not SeaQuest as far as I know.

Xenocide - 2014-01-28

"I'm good friends with Warren Buffet" is a pretty storied phrase on kids' TV. It was also the Green Ranger's transformation catchphrase during the popular Power Rangers Namedrop Force series. Then the Red Ranger would shout "I MET KANYE ONCE IN AN ELEVATOR!"

infinite zest - 2014-01-28

Dude red ranger ain't shit! Green Ranger told me he saw Ross Perot in the bathroom. He was in a stall but you could still tell.

Caminante Nocturno - 2014-01-28

Spice & Wolf proved that you can make a cartoon about economics that's actually interesting, so this thing has no excuse for being dull.

poorwill - 2014-01-28

Warren just doesn't have the waifu appeal of Holo.

infinite zest - 2014-01-28

Jeez. I totally read the title as "Oracle of Obama". I know Buffett but had never heard "Oracle/Wizard/Sage" (of Omaha) before. I also haven't read a newspaper since The Rocket became the Stranger

subduralhematoma - 2014-01-28

I'd like to think this was the motivation behind Warren Buffet's success this entire time. To make enough money to fund his own cartoon show where he's best friends with an ethnically diverse group of children and have fun adventures washing cars and riding rollercoasters.

Caminante Nocturno - 2014-01-29

That was Greenspan's ultimate goal. Buffet just made this cartoon to spite him.

Jet Bin Fever - 2014-01-31

I like the way you think.
