I didn't really learn any PUA or MRA bs for a long time. I knew a few things but I thought it was mostly just a flip-side to like.... maybe Cosmo magazine feminism- for turdy dudes, but as a fight-fire-with-fire kind of thing.

Learned a little more about both in the last few months...

I do not envy the guy who tries to talk to a girl right after these dudes have tried their shit.

I see this sort of Captain Caveman bullshit occuring more than it ever should, and not in the places you'd expect. I got nearly thrown off a balcony by some prick like this for "cock-blocking" him simply by talking to his already drunk potential one-night-stand while he was busy walking around the bar trying to buy himself coke.

He says "no eye contact" and I thought he was joking. We have a good conversation, etc. find out we have a lot in common and anyway he flips the fuck out like "SHE WAS MINE BRO" to the point where I had to simply apologize for having a goddamn conversation with someone (she was cute, sure, but no). He proceeds to punch me several times in the face, pick me up and attempt to throw me off the balustrade of a second story apartment before some strangers intervened. At this point the girl was long gone.

As bad as THIS sounds, however, I have a bit of sympathy for people attending this asshole's seminar (mostly like that guy in the front row who looks as uncomfortable as fuck the whole time.) I understand the frustration with asking a girl oot and getting told "no." I also understand the frustration that girls have with finding a "good man" because all the good ones are afraid that the girls will think they watched or attended one of these talks and that sex over a potential relationship is all they want. So nobody does anything.

If I remember my PUA lore right, these RSD guys are the ones who stayed with Mystery for a while and allegedly ripped off a lot of his material but made it vastly rapeyer. Anyhow, the creepiest PUA stuff I've seen almost always goes back to them somehow.

Wow infinite zest, I'm sorry to hear that. I have never imagined these guys as aggressive towards other guys. But the more you know and all that.
