It is, but at the same time she really pisses me off. It's completely irrational since she's in the grip of a horrible delusion. But she sounds so similar to the tea party folks that my mind always places her in the same category as those assholes.

She has a few videos where she actually films herself. I didn't submit them cuz I figured it was kinda weird to do so, but they are out there. She's gone from looking like an average woman about 2 years ago or so to looking like someone who is as crazy as she sounds. I think I mentioned this before, but I was in a brief relationship with a girl addicted to Xanax.. we started off as friends because her boyfriend was video-taping her (not true) but you know.. she'd sometimes just flip out and start punching trees like minecraft was going out of style, or wreck someone's lawn decorations, for no apparent reason except that the Xanax had probably run its course. The sex was great but one time she just started punching me in the face in the middle of it, giving me a black eye. No fun.

A friend of mine back in the day was optimistic/desperate enough that he dated a girl with sometimes-unmedicated paranoid schizophrenia. He'd come home to find half his stuff thrown onto the street because she was looking for a listening device, or have the cops show up at his door because she went to the cops accusing him of poisoning her when she found a box of chocolates on the street and obviously he put it there to kill her. I've had a few friends who were paranoid schizophrenics, but the craziest thing I've ever fucked probably had theatrical Histronic Personality Disorder.

A little story: She got severely fucked up at a party, to the point where her tits were coming out of her tank top. I'm fed up with her, both for the night and for good, so I drive her home. She's protesting the entire way, and the closer we get to her place, the more hysterical she got. I hear her unbuckle her seat belt, and a moment later she blindsides me with a mulekick to the face. I managed to block the rest of the kicks and pin her head against the passenger window for the rest of the drive. Like a true gentleman, I pushed her out into her driveway and drove off. Surprise surprise, she now has multiple DUIs and apparently wrecked a subsequent boyfriend's car trying to pull the same shit.

As for stalkedinboston, I really just want to see one of these people filming themselves on the sidewalk.

Lots of people are estranged from their family altogether, especially mentally ill people. Or they could be supporting her financially but want nothing to do with her personally; it happens somewhat often. Does she really seem like the type who is close with her neighbors? And given what we've seen of her behavior, it isn't hard to imagine that she doesn't really have any friends or even acquaintances to speak of.

There are all kinds of people, especially in large cities, who live very isolated lives, without any real support system to speak of. The ones with mental illness often just get worse until, like you said, they hurt themselves or someone else.

And I agree that the more you think about this poor woman's situation and probably future, the harder these get to watch.

How do you help someone who thinks everyone is part of Obama's death squad that wants to rape you? Literally? She had posted a few videos awhile back of her in some sort of therapy session at a social workers office or something and even there she couldn't contain herself enough to not be kicked out.
