I loved the shit out of this show.

CAMP CARIBOO is one of those shows that I didn't watch on CTV when it was new (because I was watching American Saturday morning cartoons on border stations) and I didn't really watch on YTV when it was on in reruns because I was already too old for such things by the time YTV started.

But somehow I do remember the "Camp Caraboogie" theme. I guess it was probably on directly after something I did watch, most likely YOU CAN'T DO THAT ON TELEVISION reruns.

Camp Caribou was shot at camp Wanakita near Haliburton, Ontario. We'd go there for winter camping trips in public school. Also, one of the show's hosts, Tom, is now a weather man working for Kitchener Waterloo CTV last time I watched cable.
