I like the "Extra Ashens" channel a lot more than his main one. I think I'm even subscribed to it.

I think part of it is that there was a year when I and another guy with similar sensibilities worked at a thrift shop and spent as much time as possible hanging out by the dumpsters near the donation dropoff and doing stuff like this.

If you've never dressed up in snowpants, goalie pads and a glowing alien mask and played golf with a working lava lamp in front of strangers (possibly while blaring Phil Collins, there was a period* where we had the Miami Vice soundtrack on CD and would play In the Air Tonight on a continuous loop for hours so we could "get it") I recommend it.




*I'm pretty sure that period was one afternoon before we were informally barred from ever playing Phil Collins again; then the store got new managers and went to shit and last time I was there they wanted for a pair of Radio Shack speakers with the woofers kicked in.

That's absolutely horrible, but you know what? Fluttershy is so good-hearted and demure, she'd probably LET you decapitate her with a hand blender, IF she thought that would make you happy. If you were trying to decapitate one of her friends, she'd give you The Stare like you wouldn't believe, but Fluttershy is a sweetheart to well past the point of fault, so joke's on Ashens! "Welcoming it" is actually in character!
