This show is just so wonderful in its awfulness. It's one of the few shows from my childhood I can still watch and enjoy.
I'm watching the whole series in order this summer, just got in to season two last week.
I remember not understanding why "Get it on / Bang a gong / Get it on" could be a refrain. It just seemed like they weren't trying.
Power Station is actually pretty awesome. It's a hell of a lot better band with Robert Palmer in it though.
