This has more to do with Rust or Dayz or Arma3 than minecraft. There is literally zero minecraft resemblance.
Thank god. This actually looks worth playing, unlike every other "survive in the woods only starting with a hatchet" kind of crafting/survival/exploration game.

I ate an eighth of shrooms while drunk a couple years ago, the first time and probably last I'd done psychedelics since I was 19 years old. I retreated to my room and loaded up Minecraft. I spent who knows how long looking into a deep underground chasm, in total awe of the immaculate beauty of minecraft.
I remember saying "They knew exactly what was going to happen. The people who made this planned all of this. This game was created to help people become enlightened."
Then I cried on the kitchen floor because I thought my dad was trying to kill me. I thought I was in MacBeth or Richard III.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2014-05-28 Minecraft does create some amazingly cool and, yes, beautiful vistas. I suppose it depends on what mods you're running and if you don't like sharp corners if it doesn't appeal.

Gmork - 2014-05-28 Basically, it comes down to I don't like the visual aesthetic. I am totally ok with pixelated textures and block world, but the block characters pixel weapons and stuff really bugs me. People have done some amazing mods for it, but i'd rather see simplistic but appropriate 3d models for characters and weapons with angles that aren't all 90 degrees. I'm not hating on retro, I just wish Minecraft's base game had more personality.. kinda wish Redigit would make a minecraft clone terraria style. Id play that.
