Baby Boomers don't start dying until 2020 so its going to be a little while

My parents (and probably many of ours') are Boomers, and have seen civil rights, affirmative action, and so much more than arguably any other generation including us Millennials. Seeing two men walking down the street holding hands might make them turn their heads but that's about it. They're not the generation that needs to go in 2020, it's just fuckers like this guy.

Its not a generational thing. We said the same things about the previous generation. Old people as a group have always been frightened, bigoted, and jealous of any attempt to infringe upon their power. When the last boomer finally expires, it will be your turn to suck.

It's a fine line between pointing out the blatant and frequent hypocrisy found in homophobes (who DO tend to be revealed as secretly highly gay on the sly) and homophobia (haha, because you're gay too, and being gay is worth making fun of in and of itself!), it's true.

Pegging most anti-gay bigots as being secretly gay would probably be homophobic if it didn't turn out to be mostly true.

them being secretly gay may exacerbate their conservative mindset regarding gays.
However, i think it is likely that all of their conservative friends and family look upon homosexuality with disdain, and are all mirroring each others views.
ie it's the conservatism that's the problem, the sexual orientation (active or subverted) only helps to define the volume of the vitriol in the response
