I was about to mention that. At UW Madison there were red phones every 10 feet and the University Police would be there almost like that. Wisconsin's not as cold, but I always envied campuses with these, instead of my daily routine of "duck into as many buildings as I can for 5 minutes at a time." But as cool as an underground tunnel community sounds, if security's this lax, I shutter to think of what or who else could be running down those halls. At least in Madison we had a big lake we could jump into or bushes to hide in or something.. eek.
I worked admin here and the number of assaults and rapes that have happened in those tunnels late at night is staggering, it's actually nice to see something non-terrifying happening in there for once.
Non-terrifying, but those are narrow hallways. Even if this was filmed at whatever-in-the-morning during the middle of break from Summer School, I saw at least one person who looked like he was investigating what was going on. If I was studying for finals or something, at 5 in the morning, and heard something that sounded like a lawnmower or a fire alarm or whatever a motorcycle sounds like in concrete halls, I'd probably go out into the middle of the hallway, not stand by the door. He could've killed a lot of people.
