I was going to make some kind of joke about Dalits but then I looked on Wikipedia and realized that, on a legislative level at least, India appears to treat its untouchables better than we treat ours, and now I don't really have it in me to joke about it.
Anyway, next time you're "accosted by panhandlers" maybe you should have a conversation with a fellow human being.
I really wasn't taking sides here by linking to this, although there's really nothing that can happen in a crowded convention hall that I'd personally want to take a chance sleeping outside for. If I was that desperate to get into Hall H for a panel, I'd turn this video around and pay a homeless guy to wait in line for me, unless the SDCC have specific rules preventing that. But I have no desire to be in a crowded room in southern California in the middle of summer, so SDCC isn't something I'd ever consider attending. (Would love to visit San Diego, but I'd do it in winter.)
