A lot of times, what seems like a morbid obsession can actually be healthy and therapeutic if it sparks creativity. I'm thinking of James Ellroy's adolescent obsession with the Black Dahlia murder, which happened a year before he was born. I'm no shrink, but this girl probably has some serious issues, and they may have to do with something terrible that happened to her as a little girl, and this could be her way of getting ready to face it. A lot of young people deal with childhood abuse by drinking a lot of alcohol and taking a lot of drugs. If this is her way of dealing with childhood abuse (just an example, I don't know what's really going on here) doing a JonBenet dance on YouTube is much much better.
